We recommend spacing our hanger units every 32" on center. When using our unique hidden hanger unit, the rod is placed over the first row of shingles and the flat part of the rod is secured with 1½" screws under the second row of shingles. Our new 5", 6" and 8" hanger unit bracket allows for the installation of the bracket without using the screws. The tab on the bracket can be bent over the back hem of the gutter for a free floating installation. A tab bender is included to assist in the bending of stainless steel tabs. Aluminum brackets will not require the use of the tab bender. Stainless steel hanger units are compatible with both copper and aluminum gutter. The stainless steel hanger unit is available in 5", 6" and 8" sizes. A stainless steel hanger unit includes .060 stainless steel bracket, 11" - 5/16" matte (paintable) stainless steel rod, washer and stainless steel nuts. We strongly recomment renting our rod bender for the stainless steel rods as we do not pre-bend the rods to your specifications. The aluminum hanger unit is available in 5" and 6" sizes. The aluminum hanger unit includes .063 aluminum bracket, 11" - 5/16" aluminum rod and aluminum nuts.
