5" Galvalume Round Elbows

Printer Friendly VersionPrinter Friendly Version

The average downspout installation requires 2 elbows at the top and 1 at the bottom. If you are connecting your downspout into a drain tile, the elbow at the bottom is not necessary.

The offset is the measurement of 2 connected elbows. See the offset column below to determine the correct elbow selection. For offsets greater than 11" extra downspout will be needed.

An overhang of less than 5" will require 2-40 degree elbow. This elbow combination also works when making a transition around a ledge of other protrusion.

You will need to reduce the size of the opening on the elbows and downspout when installing the downspout system. (See installation tips)

Item# Description Offset Price (each)

EL5GAL4S 5" x 40° smooth 5"-10" $7.75
EL5GAL7S 5" x 72° smooth 11" $7.75

EL5GAL4CR 5" x 40° corrugated 5"-10" $7.75
EL5GAL7CR 5" x 72° corrugated 11" $7.75

Installation tips:

A downspout & elbow crimper tool will reduce the size of the opening by crimping the edges of the smooth downspout and elbows.

A needle nose pliers may be used to reduce the size of the opening when connecting corrugated elbows and downspout. Take hold of the inside corrugation with the pliers and turn so the corrugation becomes tighter.
